Privacy policy
ARTH helps users understand salary documents, prepare tax information, and plan financial goals. This policy explains what information ARTH handles and the choices available to users.
Information you provide
- Account information such as name and email address.
- Profile details such as employer, work city, salary, rent, and financial goals.
- Documents you upload, including payslips, offer letters, and tax proofs.
- Optional identifiers that you explicitly choose to save.
Website and waitlist data
If you join the ARTH waitlist, we store the name and email address you submit. If you use Google sign-in on the website, Google provides the basic account information shown during that sign-in flow. We use this information to manage the waitlist and communicate about ARTH.
Optional Gmail access
Gmail connection is optional. It starts only after you choose to connect an account and grant Google permission. ARTH requests the read-only Gmail scope. It cannot send, modify, or delete email.
When you start an import, ARTH searches up to the previous 120 days for invoices, receipts, order confirmations, and payment messages. It reads the sender, subject, message date, and snippet needed to identify a possible transaction. ARTH does not download attachments.
Gmail message data is processed on your Android device. Raw email content and Gmail access tokens are not uploaded to or stored on ARTH servers. Parsed transaction details and the resulting spending summary are stored locally on your device. ARTH does not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, or training general-purpose AI models.
How information is used
- Provide paycheck, tax-readiness, document, and goal-planning features.
- Authenticate accounts and keep each user's records separated.
- Maintain security, diagnose failures, and prevent misuse.
- Respond to support and privacy requests.
Storage and service providers
ARTH uses service providers for authentication, application hosting, database storage, and document interpretation. Data sent to ARTH servers is associated with the signed-in ARTH account. ARTH does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Server records are retained while your account or an active feature requires them. You can delete financial data and uploaded documents from the app. Locally generated Gmail and SMS spending summaries can be cleared from the device. You can revoke ARTH's Google access at any time from your Google Account permissions.
Security
ARTH uses encrypted network connections, account-scoped access controls, and protected storage for sensitive application data. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
ARTH is not directed to children under 18.
