Tax, contained on purpose.

A versioned Tax Year 2026-27 rule engine reads the figures you already confirmed and works out where you stand. A diagnostic, not a filing service.

Why this exists

Once a year, in a panic, from a WhatsApp forward.

Most people meet their own tax situation twice a year, and both times it arrives as a deadline rather than as information.

That is how an insurance policy gets bought in March for the deduction rather than the cover. The information existed all along - as a slab table, a list of section numbers, and no connection to your salary.

The diagnostic runs all year, not every March.

So the answer is there in June, while you can still act on it.

How the diagnostic runs.

Every input traces back to something you confirmed. Nothing is estimated on your behalf.

  1. 01
    The engine

    It starts from confirmed figures.

Gross, deductions and net pay from payslips you already checked. An unconfirmed month stays out.

  2. 02
    You

You fill in what a payslip cannot know.

Rent, employment type, age, existing investments, health premiums, loan interest, NPS, donations.

  3. 03
    The engine

Both regimes are computed in full.

The Tax Year 2026-27 rules applied end to end, both regimes, same inputs. No lookup table.

  4. 04
    The engine

    Twelve gap checks run.

Each deduction you qualify for and have not used, with the amount, the effort, and the date it closes.

  5. 05
    On your phone

You see the arithmetic, not just the answer.

Open any figure to see its inputs and steps. A tax number you cannot audit is one you should not trust.

  6. 06
    You

You act, and you file elsewhere.

ARTH tells you what to do and by when. Filing stays where you already do it.

What the engine covers.

Versioned to Tax Year 2026-27 under the Income-tax Act, 2025. When rules change the version changes, and old answers stay explainable.

Income
Salary income with the standard deduction, plus employment type - a consultant gets a different answer.
Rent and HRA
HRA exemption where your employer pays it, the 80GG route where they don't, metro distinction included.
Section 80C
The ₹1,50,000 bucket - EPF, ELSS, life premiums, principal repayment, tuition fees.
NPS
The extra ₹50,000 on top of 80C, plus the employer contribution - the one deduction that survives the new regime.
Health and education
Premiums for you and your parents, the higher limit where a parent is over 60, and education-loan interest.
Home loan and savings
Home-loan interest under Section 24(b), and savings-account interest at the limit you qualify for.
Age and donations
Age group, since slabs and several limits turn on it, and donations made during the year.
Versioning
Rules live as versioned data, not scattered through code, so every figure records the year it was computed under.
The line

ARTH is built with Sarvam, Google and OpenAI. None of them go near your tax.

Those three read documents and label merchants - jobs where a good approximation helps and a human confirms it. A tax figure is a different kind of thing: it has to be reproducible, explainable, and identical for the same inputs a year from now. So a deterministic, versioned rule engine computes it, and that engine is the only path.

Tax figures: the ARTH rule engine. Deterministic, versioned to Tax Year 2026-27, same answer every time.

The same engine runs the estimator on the home page. Try it against your own salary before you sign up for anything.

What we promise.

Held on purpose. Not a gap waiting for a roadmap.

You file where you already file. ARTH represents you to nobody.

Your CA stays your CA. This is a diagnostic that gets you to them better prepared.

The rule engine is the only path to a tax figure. No model computes, adjusts or reviews one.

Arithmetic, shown in full. No refund, saving or outcome is promised anywhere.

See where you actually stand, before March does it for you.
